ALBAWABA - A Jordanian spokesperson announced finding some parts of a crashed drone in the city of Irbid, northern the country, Al Mamlaka reported.
The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate said that the specialized teams for handling explosives in the Jordanian Armed Forces and Public Security found parts of a drone in an empty area.
Earlier, residents of the area reported to authorities that they heard the sound of an explosion yesterday evening, Monday, in Irbid Governorate. According to Jordanian authorities, the drone crash didn't cause any significant damage.
Jordan's security announced opening an investigation to determine the source of the drone and the circumstances of the incident, Al Mamlaka added.
