As part of its ongoing aims to present its visitors with premium quality services coupled with a comfortable and enjoyable environment for shopping, the Jordanian Duty Free Corporation launched its 2007 Summer Campaign this July with a grand prize every month worth US$ 10,000.

Throughout the campaign, JDF will be offering shoppers 1 ticket for each US$ 50 for the equivalency of their spending in 14 out of 16 of its shopping outlets. These tickets will be entered into a monthly raffle draw, held at a different JDF outlet each month.

Three lucky winners will be selected each month, the first winner will receive US$ 10,000 in cash, while the second place winner will receive a Sony TV set, and the third will receive a Sony Hi Fi Stereo System. The campaign is designed so that the more purchases one makes from the outlets the more chances he or she has to win, by spending US$ 100; shoppers get a second ticket and so on. And the winners’ names will be announced in local media.

“We at the Jordanian Duty Free Shops Corporation have decided to launch this campaign during the summer season, as we realize the importance this season has for Jordan, expecting over 1.5 million tourists. We want to secure a unique shopping experience for our visitors at all times; therefore we are extending this initiative until the end of the current year. By this extension, we hope to be granting opportunities for a larger number of visitors to win prizes and to enjoy the shopping experiences we offer them.” said Mr. Haitham Majali, General Manager of the Jordan Duty Free Shops Co.

Mr. Majali further added that JDF is constantly working to represent Jordan in the best light, especially since JDF outlets are the first thing visitors’ encounter when entering the country from its borders.

It is important to note that this campaign was launched as part of the firm’s strategy to commend and reward its clients’ loyalty, and to ensure that its services continually surpass the norm.
