The Jordan Commercial Bank (JCBank) launched this summer its Travel Insurance policy—the first such banking product in Jordan made available for JCBank’s clients to ensure their safety during foreign expeditions. This free-of-charge insurance is available with the American Life Insurance Co (ALICO), to all JCBank’s cardholders.

The JCBank’s Travel Insurance with ALICO is a health-and-life-insurance policy, which covers up to $100,000 in cases such as death, or injury with complete or partial paralysis that might occur while traveling. The insurance policy also provides services applied by the American International Assistance Services (ASIS), which will cover the emergency medication and treatment bills.

Dr. Mohammed Asadi, JCBank’s Assistant General Manager for Retail Banking & Technology, said, “This policy is valid for our clients anywhere they choose to visit in the world, except in the residence country. At JCBank, we always strive to bring creative and innovative banking solutions to our clients in accordance with their needs, demands, and lifestyles.”

Since the policy is available to all JCBank’s cardholders, it will certainly promote further use of payment cards by the bank’s customers and encourage them to utilize these cards in purchasing flight tickets from different travel agencies.

Moreover, it will enhance JCBank’s competitiveness in the local market, and will assist in promoting the bank’s Travel and Entertainment Loans for the cardholders.
