Jordan and Algeria signed Sunday an agreement for cooperation in the field of social development, reported the official Petra news agency.
The agreement was signed between Jordanian Minister of Social Development Tamam Ghoul and her counterpart Abu Jabra Sultani in Algiers.
The agreement will be effective as of May 2002, and stipulates coordination of bilateral efforts in the field of social protection and development, said the agency.
Ghoul arrived Friday in Algiers where she held talks with other officials on expanding bilateral ties between the two countries – Albawaba.com
