Joaquim Chissano, the special envoy of the United Nations and the former president of Mozambique was received on August 15 by the Tunisian Foreign Minister Abdelbaki Hermassi. <i>La Presse</i> reports that before his departure Joaquim Chissano held a press conference in the international airport of Tunis-Carthage that Tunisia has a significant role to play for the success of the new UN reforms, which will be discussed in the 2005 Summit envisaged to be held from 14 to 16 September.
