Jerusalem police discovered severe security lapses at dozens of Jerusalem stores, malls, and public parking lots during a series of undercover security checks conducted over the past several weeks, the Jerusalem Post reported Monday.
Of the 56 places checked by police, only six passed the security check, police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby told the Israeli paper.
Crowded places in the city have been subject to suicide attacks in the 1990s, especially those carried by the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas -- Albawaba.com
