Sami F. Bahrawi, Chairman of Jeddah Economic Forum 2007, today unveiled the electronic survey equipment to be used at this year’s Forum, which aims at enhancing stimulation and interaction between delegates, speakers, members of the press and the Forum proceedings.

At a press conference held at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bahrawi joined Gavin Reid of IML Ltd, UK’s leading supplier of Interactive Audience Response Systems and specialists in Audience Voting Systems, for a live demonstration of the equipment, which will be used for the first time for delegate surveys at the Forum. Various questions were posed to the attending media to gauge current perceptions and to provide an opportunity for hands on experience.

“We shall introduce a number of innovations at this year’s Forum,” expressed Bahrawi. “As we develop the Forum themes around the future of economic reform we shall seek the views of the delegates on issues that are vital to the future of the Kingdom. IML’s equipment will allow us to receive and collate opinions from hundreds of delegates simultaneously. This in turn will mean a much greater involvement of forum delegates in taking us forward to practical and sustainable economic strategies.”

The Jeddah Economic Forum is to be held at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel, February 24th -27th 2007.
