Syrian dissident Maamun al-Homsi, who was jailed for five years in March on charges of seeking to change the constitution by force, has been admitted to hospital following a heart attack, his lawyer said Wednesday.
Homsi, a former MP, was being treated in the intensive care ward of Damascus's Dar al-Shifa hospital under security service guard after being taken ill on Tuesday, Anwar al-Bunni told AFP.
His condition had yet to be stabilized, Bunni added. (Albawaba.com)
