Keeping pace with Jafza’s commitment to support the Emiratisation drive, Jebel Ali Free Zone “Jafza” is working in close coordination with several leading companies within the free zone to maximise employment opportunities for UAE nationals.

Complementing Jafza’s efforts, Hyatt Communication, a multinational company providing mobile network solutions, recently hired Jamal Al Noami, a UAE national, for the post of Lease Negotiator. In recognition of this move, Jafza presented a certificate of appreciation to Hyatt Communication for their support. The certificate was presented in the presence of Hamza Al Haddad, Vice President, Marketing Department, Jafza; Mohamed Abdullah Al Jassmi, HR Manager Jafza; Yousef Ali from Client Services, Human Resources department, Jafza; Farookh Mistri, Vice President, Commercial, Hyatt Communication and Jojo Vallivattam, Administration & Logistics Manager, Hyatt Communication.

Salma Hareb, Chief Executive Officer Jafza, said: “In line with the Emirates Nationals Development Programme initiated by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Jafza has undertaken several measures to support the Emiratisation drive in the country. UAE nationals have proven that they have the required skills and aptitude to work in various positions of responsibility, even in the technical field, making them a real asset to the organisation.”

Mohamed Al Jassmi, HR Manager - Jafza, said: “Jafza has introduced manpower placement services for its clients, whereby it will train and prepare nationals for the different kinds of job opportunities available within the free zone. This plan complements our objective to offer our customers high quality value-added services. It is a win-win situation for both our clients and the country as a whole, as we are enhancing a dynamic and thriving business environment. We are glad that companies like Hyatt Communication have realised the importance of recruiting nationals, and this is a good example of public-private partnership.”

Companies operating in the free zone can benefit immensely from Jafza’s Emiratisation initiative. The training cost will be minimal and there will be no visa requirements, besides being assured of manpower replacement and complete government support.
