Jacky’s Electronics, the UAE’s number one multi-brand retailer, has added another accolade to its awards belt, scooping the ‘Best Electronics and Entertainment Store’ award for Jacky’s Express at the Mall of the Emirates Retailer’s Annual General Meeting. The Mall of the Emirates Awards criteria was based on sales performance, operational compliance, marketing and promotions and financial compliance.
Ashish Panjabi, Chief Operating Officer, Jacky’s Electronics, received the award from Fouad Mansour Sharaf, Vice President, Mall of the Emirates. This is the first award Jacky’s Express – a scaled-down version of Jacky’s Electronics – received after launching the concept a little over two years ago.
“After evaluating retail trends, Jacky’s created this retail concept – Jacky’s Express – designed to provide digitally-driven consumers with innovative service across a diverse fast-moving product range. After seeing a dramatic change in customer and product profiles that were coming into our outlets, we saw the need to create a second brand name that carried a younger feel to it and catered better on digital products such as gaming, MP3, IT, mobiles and photographic products,” said Panjabi.
“Already an immediate ‘hit’ with our customers, this recognition solidifies Jacky’s leadership position and our commitment to give customers only the best service.”
This latest accolade has helped solidify Jacky’s position as a premier power retailer after being recognised by the two malls that carry the highest footfall in the UAE. Earlier in March, Jacky’s Electronics took home the Deira City Centre ‘Best Electronics and Entertainment Store’ award.
