Organisers of the Italian Luxury Interiors event closed day one hedging a four-digit crowd pull of more than 1,000 visitors over the three-day event at the capital’s Emirates Palace Hotel.
According to Francesco Alfonsi, the UAE-based Italian Trade Commissioner, trade between the UAE and Italy is currently pegged in excess of Dhs30 billion per annum.
Talking at the interactive exhibition (yesterday, Thursday March 4), he confirmed that more than 300 corporate visitors attended the first day of the inaugural event showcasing Italian luxury interiors. He said that the main interest comes from trade buyers across the hospitality, real estate and interiors sectors.
