Modhesh Friends Club successfully staged a colourful and exciting show featuring traditional and contempory dance numbers and sports performances from its roster of members.

More than 180 children attended the “Al Hafl Al Awal” meaning the “First Party” at the MOdhesh Friends Club headquarters in Modhesh World, accompanied by their proud parents and relatives that made the event a truly meaningful family affair.

One of the highlights of the program included an enactment of a local wedding ceremony in which girls dressed in beautiful traditional garbs showcased how it is like to get married in the UAE.

Adding excitement to the affair was a martial arts showcase participated by a select group of boys and girls. Wearing their white robes and pants, the group displayed taekwondo fighting skills and engaged in friendly one-on-ones.

One of the most applauded numbers was a dance performance from another group of children that gave a tribute to Michael Jackson. Dancing to the tune of Thriller, the combined boys and girls group enthralled the audience with their engrossing number.

All throughout the program, various gifts and prizes were given awa to children.
