Israeli strike injures at least 13 medical staffers in Lebanon

ALBAWABA - An Israeli airstrike in the vicinity of a hospital in Tyre injured 13 staff members and caused significant damage, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

The ministry said in a statement that "the Israeli enemy launched an airstrike in the area adjacent to Hiram Hospital in Tyre, injuring 13 hospital staff members and causing extensive damage, adding to previous damage inflicted on the hospital by Israeli attacks." The ministry called on "the international community to put an end to the escalating and expanding Israeli attacks."

Recently, the Israeli Army announced expanding its military operations in southern Lebanon.

Additionally, the army announced controlling the medieval castle of Beaufort in Lebanon on Sunday and placing the country's flag on top of it.

Shelling was audible and smoke rose from the surrounding area as the invading army's banner was spotted above the castle, AFP confirmed Sunday.
