Israeli forces detained at least 11 Palestinians, including a minor, during predawn raids on Wednesday across districts of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) confirmed that Israeli forces detained six Palestinians from the Issawiya neighborhood, in the central West Bank district of Jerusalem.
The detainees were identified as Yazan Naaji, Amer al-Sayyad, Amir Karkash, and a minor, Muhammad Attiyeh. The other two detainees have not yet been identified.
In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, Israeli forces detained two Palestinians; they were identified as Samer Sami al-Rimawi and Aziz Wael al-Rimawi.
In the northern West Bank district of Qalqiliya, one Palestinian was detained and identified as Usayd al-Barghouthi.
In the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, two Palestinians were detained; PPS identified them as Ahmad Wael Uwaida, 24, and Ahmad Hassan Abu Bakr, 26.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,900 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, 291 of whom are child prisoners and 49 of them are under the age of 16.
