When an Israeli soldier was performing his army reserve duty in the Palestinian city of Ramallah a few months ago, he noticed that his military-issue underwear had come from the nearby Palestinian town of Beit Jalla.

"On the one hand, they send us to fight our so-called enemies, and on the other, they buy clothes from them. It's just crazy," said 37-year-old Kolber, according to AP.

In response, the Israeli Defense Ministry said in a statement that either the underwear was donated to the Israeli army, or that an existing Israeli supplier subcontracted the manufacturing process to a Palestinian factory in Beit Jalla. (Albawaba.com)
