ALBAWABA- Israeli air raids have targeted multiple sites in the southern suburbs of Beirut, including the Al-Hadath area, escalating tensions in the region.
The strikes included an attack on the office of Al-Mayadeen TV, which had already evacuated its staff at the onset of the aggression on Lebanon.
The raids were conducted without prior warning, as reported by Israeli media. Additional strikes were carried out in the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon.
In response to the Israeli attacks, Hezbollah launched a heavy missile barrage on Tel Aviv, with sirens sounding across the city.
According to a statement from Hezbollah, the strikes targeted the "Taa" Military Industries Company on the outskirts of Tel Aviv with precision missiles as part of their "Khaybar" series of operations.
The group stated that the missile attacks were a retaliation for the ongoing Israeli strikes and the "massacres committed by the enemy." The operation was also carried out in response to a call to action for Hezbollah's leadership.
Hezbollah’s Resistance Operations Room indicated that the intensity of their missile attacks would continue to escalate, with increasing use of various types of missiles, including precision-guided weapons deployed for the first time.
The group reported significant enemy losses, claiming over 70 fatalities and more than 600 wounded among Israeli soldiers and officers.
The conflict saw further escalation as rockets were launched from southern Lebanon towards the Sadana Heights, between the towns of Kfar Shuba and Shebaa.
In response to the hostilities, Israeli authorities activated sirens in towns across the Western Galilee after detecting a drone infiltration from Lebanon.
