ALBAWABA- The United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Lebanon reported that 11 civilians, including 10 paramedics, were killed by Israeli forces in southern Lebanon within a single day.

He emphasized that such attacks on health facilities violate international humanitarian law and expressed concern over the escalating violence against medical teams in the region.

This statement comes amidst increased tensions between Israeli forces and Hezbollah fighters along the Southern Lebanese borders.

Hezbollah retaliated by targeting Israeli military sites in the occupied Kfar Shuba hills and launching over 150 missiles at Israeli settlements across the Lebanese border.

In response, Israeli forces conducted airstrikes on various areas in Lebanon, including the cities of Naqura and Tair Harfa, resulting in casualties among health sector teams.

In a related development, the White House declared that restoring calm in southern Lebanon is a priority for the United States.
