ALBAWABA - Israeli forces executed a number of raids across a number of cities in the West Bank, including Nablus and Rulkarm where a number of Palestinians were injured during heavy confrontations with the Israeli army.
In the West Bank city of Nablus, Israeli forces attacked the eastern areas of the city, injuring three Palestinians with direct gunfire and suffocating dozens more as Israeli forces secured the settlers' storming of the Joseph's Tomb.
The Director of Ambulance and Emergency at the Red Crescent in Nablus, Ahmad Jibril, said that two Palestinians were injured by live bullets in the chest and hand, a third by shrapnel in the back and foot, and a fourth by a gas bomb directly in the head, while 120 others suffered from suffocation, WAFA News Agency reported.
A Palestinian man suffered a broken leg while being chased by occupation soldiers, and was taken to the hospital, Jibril added. He also said that Israeli soldiers beat two Palestinians while they were inside a vehicle nearby, leaving them with bruises, adding that they were given first aid in the field.
In the Balata refugee camp, one Palestinian was injured while another was detained as Israeli forces halted down on the West Bank camp at dawn. The Red Crescent said that a Palestinian youth was hit by several bullets in his leg and pelvis, noting that he was taken to the hospital.
Israeli occupation forces detained local resident Amid Nasr Sawalma, after raiding a house in the camp, ransacking it, and causing significant material damage to its contents.
Meanwhile, in the village of Shufa, south of the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarm, Israeli troops stormed Tulkarm camp at 5:00 A.M this morning, where confrontations erupted resulting in injuring two Palestinians.
