ALBAWABA - In a recent development, Israeli occupation has openly admitted to targeting the El-Burak School in Gaza, where the Nasser Ridwan Brigade Commander of Hamas, Ahmed Siam, was reportedly killed during an airstrike.

The Israeli occupation military's statement, however, notably omitted any mention of the civilian casualties resulting from the attack on the school, where numerous displaced individuals had sought refuge.

The airstrike, conducted by Israeli occupation in the northern Gaza Strip, claimed the lives of at least 25 people. Reports from Hamas and the Director of Shifa Hospital revealed a more extensive death toll, exceeding 50, in two distinct strikes on the El-Burak School. According to these sources, Israel allegedly targeted Palestinians who had been forcibly relocated from northern to southern areas.

The acknowledgment by Israeli occupation raises concerns about the humanitarian impact of military actions in the region and underscores the complexities of the ongoing conflict.

The incident has sparked international attention, with calls for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack and its broader implications for civilian safety in conflict zones.
