Israeli navy carries out its first attack on Yemen

ALBAWABA - The Israeli navy struck Houthi targets in Yemen, The Jerusalem Post reported, citing an Israeli official on Tuesday morning.

Accordign to Israeli media, the Israeli air forces had earlier carried out nine attacks against Houthis in Yemen, however, this is the first attack that is carried out by the Israeli navy.

Avichay Adraee, the Israeli military's Arabic spokesperson, warned via a post on X late on Monday, calling civilians to leave the Houthi-controlled Yemeni ports of Ras Isa, Hodeidah, and Salif.

He wrote: "Due to the terrorist Houthi regime's use of seaports for its terrorist activities, we urge all those present at these ports to evacuate and stay away from them for your own safety until further notice." "Evacuating ports will keep you safe," the Israeli military spokesperson said.
