An IDF precision strike targets Hamas leadership: Assessing the fate of deputy commander.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have conducted a targeted strike against senior figures within the Hamas organization.

The IDF confirmed that fighter jets struck a tunnel where Marwan Issa, a high-ranking Hamas commander, and other top commanders were believed to be hiding. While the IDF has released footage of the strike, it remains uncertain whether Issa was killed in the operation.

The strike, which took place in the Nuseirat refugee camp, was part of a broader Israeli effort to neutralize threats posed by Hamas.

Israel is currently investigating whether the elusive deputy commander of Hamas’s armed wing was indeed killed during the weekend airstrike. This action follows a series of operations by the IDF and Shin Bet, which have been targeting individuals involved in Hamas’s rocket firing apparatus.
