ALBAWABA - Hebrew media revealed that Israel and Syria are close to signing a new security agreement brokered by the United States.
Channel 12 reported that the close deal aims to stabilize Syria after years of civil war, reduce threats on its northern border, and distance Damascus from the Iranian-led Shiite axis.
The Israeli channel further outlined that Tel Aviv stressed that this step represents a significant security opportunity, despite the strategic risks that still loom over it.

- Establishing a humanitarian corridor to Jabal al-Druze in Sweida amid the latest unrest in the southern Syrian city
- Promising to rebuild Syria with American support and aid from Gulf states, in an attempt to restore the country to stability while reducing Iranian influence in the region.
