ALBAWABA - During a large-scale military raid on the Nur Shams camp in the West Bank city of Tulkarm, two Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli forces using live ammunition. The Israeli army also launched a drone strike on the Gaza Strip later on Saturday.

Accompanied by large bulldozers, Israeli forces launched a large-scale military operation in the camp, where they began tearing down major roads across Nur Shams camp and destroying infrastructure, while snipers took their places on the rooftops of civilians' rooftops.

According to local sources, Israeli airplanes launched an airstrike on a location east of Gaza City this evening. While there were no casualties, the strike inflicted severe damage to the targeted region.

According to a WAFA correspondent, Israeli fighter jets fired at least one missile at a target east of Gaza City. The missile attack destroyed the site, although no injuries were reported among the locals.

This event comes after a day of clashes between Palestinian protesters and Israeli occupation forces along Gaza's east border. Three Palestinian citizens were shot, while scores more died as a result of tear gas inhalation.

On Friday, Israeli troops opened fire on Palestinians taking part in a demonstration near Gaza's border region. 28 people were reportedly injured in the demonstrations.

According to a statement by an Israeli military spokesperson, the airstrike was particularly targeted at three Hamas military sites in the Gaza Strip. Notably, these targeted locations were close to the border.

"A drone struck a military post belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization, adjacent to the area where a violent riot was taking place," the army spokesperson said.
