ALBAWABA - In a joint statement, the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Commission and the Palestine Prisoners Society said that more than 30 people have been detained in the last 24 hours.

The statement further detailed that more than 180 Palestinians have been detained by Israeli forces since Israel launched its large military operation in the West Bank last Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers continued to attack Jenin and its camp for the seventh day in a row. So far, the raid has killed 19 people, injured and arrested hundreds, and destroyed civilians' property and infrastructure, including water and electrical networks.

PPS and the Commission confirmed that the overall number of Palestinians held in the occupied West Bank since October 7th had climbed to well than 10,400. This statistic includes people who were imprisoned in their homes, at military checkpoints, surrendered under pressure, and held prisoner.

Later last night, occupation soldiers and an Israeli special force raided the village of Qabatiya, opening fire on people's houses, and killing a young man with a bullet to the chest while he was inside.

Last night, Israeli soldiers arrested an ambulance crew delivering an emergency medical case to Khalil Suleiman Governmental Hospital in Jenin and assaulted several of them.

Israeli occupation soldiers assaulted the village of Muthalath Al-Shuhada, south of Jenin, at dawn today, deploying snipers on multiple houses' roofs, raiding six houses, and detaining a number of civilians before withdrawing

On Wednesday, the Israeli Army announced the "major operation" describing it as the largest military operation in the West Bank since the Intifada (Palestinian uprising) in 2002. Hundreds of troops were deployed to the camps with the support of drones, bulldozers, and live bullets.

Online footage showed Israeli troops and bulldozers storming the refugee camp of Jenin followed by additional military reinforcements, with news that the army had blocked the ins and outs of the camp.
