ALBAWABA - Israeli forces demolished a primary school in the West Bank city of Hebron, raising tensions in a city with a mixed Palestinian-Israeli population.
Today Israel demolished a primary school in Masafer Yatta that had 23 pupils and three teachers.

The Isfi Primary School in Isfi Al Fawqi, which is situated in Masafer Yatta to the south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, mainly served children from various villages in the surrounding area.
Israel demolished a Palestinian primary school today while it was in session.

Pleas and protests against the move by the Palestine Ministry of Education did not deter the Israelis from moving ahead with the demolition.

Palestinians described the Israeli act as "heinous", saying it underlined Israeli plans to drive native Arabs out of the nearby old-age Palestinian villages, such as Al Maghayer, Al Abied, Touba, Isfi Al Fawqa, and Isfi Al Tihta.
