Israeli Defense Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer hinted that the attacks on the US were carried out by Islamic terrorists, said Haaretz newspaper.
"The threat of radical Islam is the central threat to the free world because its goal is to destroy everything connected to the values of western democracies."
