Hamas has expressed its willingness to reach a full agreement for a comprehensive prisoner exchange deal, conditional upon the cessation of Israeli military actions in Gaza.

ALBAWABA- The Israeli army has reportedly destroyed a tunnel in the Jabalia area of the northern Gaza Strip, recovering the bodies of seven Israeli hostages, according to Israeli Army Radio. Documentation of the tunnel’s destruction was published, highlighting ongoing military operations in the besieged strip.

Meanwhile, Hamas has expressed its willingness to reach a full agreement for a comprehensive prisoner exchange deal, conditional upon the cessation of Israeli military actions in Gaza.

Hamas stated, "We informed the mediators of our readiness to reach a full agreement that includes a comprehensive exchange deal if the occupation stops its war on our people in Gaza."

Hamas claims to have shown "flexibility and positivity" in previous indirect negotiation rounds and approved a mediator proposal on May 6th. However, they accuse Israel of using these negotiations as a pretext to continue aggression, including the recent invasion of Rafah and occupation of its crossing.

Hamas declared it will not continue negotiations under current conditions of ongoing violence, siege, and humanitarian crisis.

"The mediators were informed of our clear position that if the occupation stops its war and aggression against our people in Gaza, we are ready to reach a complete agreement that includes a comprehensive exchange deal," Hamas stated.
