ALBAWABA - Israeli military vehicles performed further incursions into the northern countryside of Al-Quneitra Governorate in southwestern Syria, without any arrests, according to the official Syrian media outlet, Alikhbaria Syria, on Wednesday.
The Syrian News Channel reported on its X platform that "an Israeli occupation patrol penetrated the village of Ofaniya in the northern Quneitra countryside and raided two homes without recording any arrests."
It further mentioned, "A second patrol consisting of eight military vehicles, including a heavy bulldozer and two tanks, advanced toward the eastern town of Samdaniya and remained stationed for several hours around Tel Kroum Jaba before withdrawing toward the destroyed city of Quneitra."
It is worth mentioning that Israel has been occupying the Golan Heights since 1967, and exploited the latest chaos that led to the overthrow of ousted President Bashar Assad in late 2024 to expand its occupation.
