ALBAWABA- The Israeli army reported that 90 rockets were launched from Lebanon towards the Upper Galilee on Wednesday afternoon. This represents the heaviest barrage since the current conflict began, with some rockets intercepted by defense systems, while others landed in various areas.

Sirens were triggered in more than 40 towns, including Safed and the Golan Heights, warning of imminent danger.

Hezbollah confirmed responsibility for the attacks, stating that their fighters targeted the Israeli Ra'em military base south of the Golan Heights.

Additionally, Hezbollah fired a large missile salvo at a gathering of Israeli forces in the "Amnon" settlement north of Tiberias.

These missile attacks mark a significant escalation in the conflict, with Hezbollah continuing to strike strategic Israeli military positions.

In response, Israeli warplanes carried out multiple air raids, hitting the town of Alma al-Shaab in southern Lebanon and targeting Shebaa, disrupting transportation along the Shebaa-Jneam-Rashaya-Ain Ata road.

These retaliatory strikes are part of the ongoing Israeli efforts to counter Hezbollah's rocket fire and other military operations.

The violence marks a sharp rise in hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah, with no sign of de-escalation as both sides continue to exchange heavy fire across the Lebanon-Israel border.
