Israeli Ambassador to Canada Jaime Dayvon on Wednesday criticized the Israeli bulldozing of Palestinian homes in the Shu’fat refugee camp near occupied Jerusalem, reported the official Kuwaiti news agency, KUNA, citing an Israel Radio report Wednesday.
The radio said that the Israeli ambassador sent a letter to his foreign ministry criticizing Jerusalem officials for the Monday demolition of 14 homes in the refugee camp, supposedly for not being licensed.
In his letter, the ambassador said this step "has harmed Israel’s image and obstructed its international media campaign."
