ALBAWABA- Syrian media reports that an Israeli airstrike targeted a building in the Villas area of Damascus, killing three people and injuring several others.
The attack struck an apartment in a three-story building in the Mazzeh district, with reports suggesting multiple Israeli airstrikes hit the Syrian capital.
The Israeli airstrike on Damascus marks the second such attack in under 48 hours. Two days earlier, an Israeli raid claimed the life of Safaa Ahmad, a journalist and anchor for Syrian state television, in the capital.
Ahmad, who was killed on October 1, 2024, is the first journalist to lose their life in Syria this year.
