Israeli warplanes have violated Lebanon's airspace as they overflew the main Lebanese cities of Beirut and Tripoli on Wednesday, breaking the sound barrier amid reports of a troop buildup on the border, according to Lebanese police officials.

Israeli fighter-bombers also buzzed the districts of Shebaa and Marjayoun. (Albawaba.com)
