Israel sends warning to Lebanon over Hezbollah

Israel's leaders sent Lebanon a warning on Friday to prevent Hezbollah from retalitating for an alleged Israeli strike on a Hezbollah missle convoy, Reuters reported. 

Hezbollah came out with a statement on Wednesday saying that it would respond to Israel's attack at a proper "time and place."

Yuval Steinitz, Israel's Strategic Affairs Minister, said on Friday that it is Lebanon's responsibilty to prevent any terrorist attack on the State of Israel from Lebanese territory, according to Reuters. 

Israel has in the past warned Lebanon that it would be responsible for Hezbollah's actions if a new conflict arose, stating that Hezbollah is part of the government in Beirut.

Lebanon and Israel have increasinly been drawn into the Syrian conflict as violence spills over into both countries' borders.
