ALBAWABA - Local media announced that two Israeli soldiers were killed and another was seriously injured in a shooting attack at the Allenby Bridge between Israel and Jordan on Thursday.

Earlier, reports revealed that a shooting attack at the Allenby Crossing on the border between Jordan and Israel left two people injured.

At least one suspect was killed, according to The Jerusalem Post.

Israel's Army Radio said that the shooting attacker was allegedly a truck driver, who was coming from Jordan on a humanitarian aid truck that was supposed to be heading to Gaza.

Magen David Adom (MDA) revealed that two men, ages 60 and 20 years old, were injured in the shooting attack at the Allenby Crossing with Jordan.

MDA posted on X reporting the attack, "At 2:36 PM, a report was received at MDA's 101 Dispatch Center in the Jerusalem area regarding two men injured in a shooting near the Allenby checkpoint."

The statement continued, "EMTs and paramedics report two men, approximately 60 and 20 years old, unconscious."

Israeli authorities said a probe and search operation are underway as it is still unclear whether the perpetrators infiltrated the country from Jordan or came through the West Bank.
