ALBAWABA - Israel's Channel 12 reported, citing a security source, that the Syrian army the targets of the airstrikes in Damascus were the Presidential Palace and the Syrian General Staff building.

Earlier on Wednesday, massive explosions occurred near the Syrian General Staff building in Damascus, SANA news agency reported.

In addition, the Israeli army confirmed that its Air Force struck the entrance to the General Staff headquarters of the Syrian regime in the capital, Damascus.

Israeli Broadcasting Authority, citing a security source, also mentioned that the army attacked Damascus as a message directed to the Syrian regime regarding the clashes in Sweida.

Moreover, Israeli media revealed that the army attacked the entrance to the Syrian regime’s military headquarters complex in Damascus, adding that the attacks are over the clashes between Syrian army forces and Druze in Sweida city.
