AL BAWABA - Recent reports indicate that Israeli authorities have begun implementing a settlement plan aimed at redrawing the geography of the West Bank and creating a new reality on the ground, with the objective of disrupting connectivity between its major cities.
Multiple Palestinian families have reported receiving warning messages ordering them to leave their homes and land, after the Israeli government claimed ownership of their properties.
Notably, Palestinian sources reported that Israel intends to use the land—located near the separation wall—to establish a landfill in the midst of Palestinian residential areas.

The Israeli news outlet Calcalist revealed that Israeli authorities are planning to establish a new residential neighborhood for ultra-Orthodox Jews (Haredim) in Jerusalem, consisting of around 9,000 housing units designed to accommodate more than 30,000 settlers.
The Israeli government is moving forward with its E1 project, which will cover approximately 12 square kilometers. The plan aims to isolate East Jerusalem and leave Bedouin communities encircled as isolated enclaves.
