ALBAWABA- The Israeli army has issued a mass evacuation order for Palestinians in the eastern half of Khan Younis, indicating a potential return of Israeli troops to the southern Gaza city.

This move follows the withdrawal of most Israeli forces from the area earlier this year after a significant offensive.

The evacuation order suggests that Hamas may have regrouped in Khan Younis.

According to a military spokesperson, the planned Israeli invasion comes in response to approximately 20 rockets launched from the area and a complex ambush set by Al-Qassam Brigades, which detonated several Israeli vehicles with explosives.

Notably, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that there are three possible options for Gaza: Hamas control, an Israeli invasion, or chaos in the strip.

He warned that without reaching a ceasefire deal and releasing the hostages, the situation in Gaza will remain complicated.
