ALBAWABA - According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 5 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle in the West Bank city of Tubas, as Israel continues its military operation for the 9th consecutive day.

"Five killed and (one) seriously wounded in a strike (on) a car in Tubas," the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement.

Earlier this morning, Red Crescent sources said that the Israeli forces shot a young man with multiple direct bullets inside Far'a camp south of Tubas, abused him, and dragged him with a bulldozer, preventing ambulance crews from reaching him, transporting him, and providing him with the necessary first aid and that there is no confirmed information about his health condition.

On Wednesday, the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Commission and the Palestine Prisoners Society said in a joint statement that more than 30 people have been detained in the last couple of days.

The statement further detailed that Israeli forces have detained more than 180 Palestinians since Israel launched its large military operation in the West Bank.

On August 28th, the Israeli Army announced the "major operation" describing it as the largest military operation in the West Bank since the Intifada (Palestinian uprising) in 2002. Hundreds of troops were deployed to the camps with the support of drones, bulldozers, and live bullets.

Online footage showed Israeli troops and bulldozers storming the refugee camp of Jenin followed by additional military reinforcements, with news that the army had blocked the ins and outs of the camp.
