ALBAWABA - Israel begins intercepting Iranian drones over Syria and Jordan, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority announced on Friday.

Israel launched strikes on Iran's nuclear program and killed several senior military leaders in an attack that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said will last many days. Israel said it used 200 fighter jets for the attack.

Netanyahu revealed "Operation Rising Lion" targeted Iran’s main enrichment facility in Natanz, nuclear scientists, and what he described as "the heart of Iran’s ballistic missiles program."

In retaliation, Iran has launched over 100 drones toward Israeli territory, Israel’s military said.

On the other hand, Jordan closed its airspace and condemned the Israeli aggression against Iran, considering it a "flagrant violation of the sovereignty of a UN member state and a blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter," Al Mamlaka reported on Friday.
