Israel has spent $286 million to reinforce about half of the 110-kilometer border with Lebanon with an electric fence, minefields and new military outposts, reported the Daily Star newspaper on Saturday.
In the occupied Shabaa Farms, the Israeli army has just completed a road of sharp bends snaking up the hills to connect several outposts, Brigadier General Shuki Shachror, chief of Israel’s northern command, was quoted as telling reporters Thursday in Safed, at Israel’s main northern military outpost.
