Israeli troops demolished overnight Tuesday the West Bank home of the bomber who carried out a suicide attack in the Israeli town of Rosh Ha'ayin.

Additionally, seven Palestinians were arrested in the West Bank.

The US condemned Tuesday's suicide bombings. U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell called for the Palestinian Authority to crack down on armed groups, but said that said the administration would continue to push for a peace accord between Israel and the PA.

"We will never get there so long as people continue to participate in terrorist activities, and we see the response to terrorist activities, which are necessary for

self-defense," Powell said.

Earlier, the White House called on the PA to take immediate action to dismantle the "terrorist" groups.

"The Palestinian Authority must act now to dismantle terrorist networks that perpetuate such attacks and to prevent future attacks," White House spokeswoman Claire Buchan told reporters in Crawford, Texas.

She added Israel had the right to defend itself, but added that it should bear "in mind the consequences of their actions." (Albawaba.com)
