ALBAWABA  - Israeli army revealed on Thursday that Israel's air defense system has intercepted a "suspicious aerial target" in the sky of Eilat.

Al Jazeera reported earlier that sirens sounded in the city of Eilat due to the interceptor missile launch.

In detail, the Israeli armed forces said that the "suspicious aerial target" headed towards Israel from the Red Sea with initial claims said it might be carried out by the Houthi group in Yemen.

Nonetheless, the Israeli army said the incident finished and reassured citizens that no fear of a security incident is left in the city.
