ALBAWABA - Israel on Wednesday delivered its Arrow 3 long-range missile defense system to the German Air Force in a ceremony held in an airbase south of Berlin.
According to The Times of Israel, Israel and Germany completed the deal, which is worth $4.6 billion, and is considered the largest defense export deal in Tel Aviv's history.
The agreement was inked in September 2023, marking the first time the Arrow 3 system has been deployed outside Israel and the U.S.
The Arrow 3 system was deployed at the Holzdorf Air Base in eastern Germany, some 120 kilometers south of he capital. The system will also be added to other sites in the future.

What is the Arrow 3 system?
Arrow 3 is defense system that is created to protect a country from intercept long-range ballistic missiles.
The Arrow 3 system was jointly developed by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), in cooperation with Boeing, under a joint program with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and the Israel Missile Defense Organization (IMDO).
