ALBAWABA - Jordan's Public Security revealed that the Israeli authority will close the King Hussein Bridge (Allenby Bridge) to passenger and cargo traffic from the other side starting Wednesday, Sept. 24 and until further notice.
Jordan's Bridges Security Department of the Public Security Directorate announced the reopening of the King Hussein Bridge (Allenby Crossing) to passenger traffic on Sunday, Sept. 21.
However, hours after the announcement, Israel closed the King Hussein Bridge (Allenby Crossing) and forced passengers and the buses carrying them to return.
The King Hussein Bridge, also known as the Karameh crossing, has been closed since Thursday afternoon following the shooting attack, which was carried out by a truck driver and resulted in the killing of two Israeli soldiers.
