ALBAWABA- The Israeli army has launched a ground operation in Gaza, with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announcing plans to evacuate residents from targeted areas.

The military aims to establish a partial barrier between northern and southern Gaza, stationing the Golani Brigade in the south. 

Israeli forces claim control over the Netzarim axis and vow continued operations against "terrorist organizations" to protect Israeli citizens.

The move follows Israel's resumption of its military aggression on Gaza, marked by unprecedented airstrikes that have killed hundreds—including over 150 children—since yesterday morning.

The evacuation plan signals an effort toward forced displacement, aligning with the hardline policies of Israel's far-right government. 

The decision comes a day after National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir rejoined Netanyahu’s cabinet, further intensifying fears of ethnic cleansing in Gaza.
