ALBAWABA - At least 35 people were killed after Israel launched several airstrikes targeting a camp for displaced Palestinians in Rafah. Dozens were also injured in the attack.
Gaza Ministry of Health announced Sunday that the Israeli army forces committed a new "massacre" in the camp, which is located in a supposedly safe area and where there are tens of thousands of displaced people, Al Jazeera reported.
According to sources, the camp that was bombed is located in the Tal al-Sultan area, west of the city of Rafah.
A large number of bodies were recovered, the majority of whom were children and women, arrived at the Tal al-Sultan clinic.
Al Jazeera's correspondent revealed that ambulance crews were unable to recover the charred bodies as a result of the Israeli bombing of the camp.
Videos from Rafah emerged on social media showing bodies completely burned due to Israeli airstrikes that targeted the camp.
According to the Director of the government media office in Gaza, Israel used seven missiles to bomb the camp northwest of Rafah.
