ALBAWABA- Sources speaking to Al Jazeera have disclosed the initial framework terms for a ceasefire and prisoner exchange, recently agreed upon by Israel in Paris negotiations.

According to these sources, Israel has consented to the release of 400 Palestinian detainees, which notably includes individuals serving high sentences.

In return, Israel will see the release of 40 of its prisoners, including women and the elderly.

Furthermore, the terms outline Israel's commitment to allowing the gradual return of displaced individuals to the northern Gaza Strip, with an exception made for those of military service age.

Israel has also agreed to Hamas' request for increased aid entry and the provision of temporary housing in the region, along with the transportation of heavy machinery and equipment.

As part of the ceasefire conditions, Israel has proposed withdrawing its forces from densely populated areas and halting aerial reconnaissance activities for eight hours daily.
