ALBAWABA- In a heartbreaking turn of events, almost 100 individuals fell victim to poisoning during a wedding celebration in the town of Hawija, located west of Kirkuk.
The poisoning occurred after guests consumed food that was later identified as spoiled. Less than 24 hours before this incident, another tragedy unfolded in Nineveh, where over 120 people were burned during a separate wedding event.
The poisoned individuals were swiftly transported to the hospital for urgent medical attention, adding another layer of sorrow to the Iraqi society affected by these unfortunate back-to-back incidents.
