ALBAWABA - The Iraqi Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba resistance movement has claimed responsibility for the missile attack against Haifa, declaring that Israel should await more crippling attacks in retaliation for its bloody war on Gaza, PressTV reported.

In an interview with al-Mayadeen TV, the movement spokesperson Hussein al-Moussawi said that the retaliatory strike conveyed a clear message to Israeli authorities that the Axis of Resistance will never abandon its strategic goals in the West Asia region.

"Resistance fighters are fairly capable of striking areas [deep inside the occupied lands] beyond Haifa," Moussawi noted.

Al-Mayadeen TV took to Telegram to post a video of Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba launching the missiles at Haifa quoted: "The Iraqi Resistance publishes a video of the launch of al-Arqab cruise missile at occupied Haifa".

“The Axis of Resistance is determined to disrupt US scenarios in the region and thwart the occupying Israeli regime’s schemes in Gaza,” Moussawi asserted. Moussawi also underlined that the resistance front is capable of withstanding the ongoing battle for a long time because of its resources and military potential.

According to the official statement released by the Iraqi Resistance, the operation was conducted using the now-revealed "al-Arqab" upgraded long-range cruise missile.

The Iraqi Resistance further confirmed in its statement that the targeting comes “in support of our people in Gaza and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.”
