Iraqi president, Jalal Talabani, who was hospitalized after suffering a stroke in December last year, is reportedly now able to speak and understand other people, according to his doctor.
AP reported on Sunday that the Arab leader is on the road to recovery, following his move to Germany for treatment.
Dr. Najmaldin Karim, the doctor who presided over the president's treatment while he was in Iraq, described the improvement as “a good development.”
So far no other details about his condition have been released.
